New Single Cell Expression Atlas release is live
The latest release of the Single Cell Expression Atlas is now available! It features 99 individually curated single-cell RNA-seq experiments over 11 different species.
The latest release of the Single Cell Expression Atlas is now available! It features 99 individually curated single-cell RNA-seq experiments over 11 different species. The analysis pipelines have been updated and now process data from droplet-based technologies such as 10x Genomics and Drop-Seq.
RNA-Seq alignment and quantification are handled by Alevin, while filtering and clustering is handled by Scanpy. Links to both, including the workflows to run the analysis pipelines yourself — a landmark for EMBL-EBI resources — can be found in the Single Cell Expression Atlas release notes.
A number of featured landmark studies are also available such as Tabula muris and the Malaria Cell Atlas.
Highlights also include:
- Genomic encoding of transcriptional burst kinetics (E-MTAB-6362, E-MTAB-6385 and E-MTAB-7098)
- Single-cell sequencing of lung carcinomas to phenotype stromal cells in the lung tumour microenvironment (E-MTAB-6653)
- Single-cell reconstruction of the early maternal–foetal interface in humans (E-MTAB-6701 and E-MTAB-6678)
