Projects and studies merged in the ENA browser

Projects and studies have now been merged within the ENA browser. This means that the following links will both go to the same page.

http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ena/data/view/ERP012217

We still support use of the study XML, therefore the display=xml option will continue to fetch the study XML, e.g.: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ena/data/view/ERP012217&display=xml. Additionally, the project and study XML are both available to view and download from the browser page.

In the case where there are multiple studies linked to a single project ID, both the project and study pages remain separate, e.g.: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ena/data/view/PRJDB2957

As part of this merge we are also removing the "secondary study accession" column from the Read Files and Analysis Files tabs, and we encourage you to refer to the PRJ prefixed accession wherever available. The secondary study accession is still available for retrieval both from the Select columns option in the Read Files and Analysis Files tabs and also from Advanced Search.
