Expression Atlas: new release, new species, new features!

The latest release of our Expression Atlas offers data on more than 2900 experiments!

Datasets

This release includes datasets on tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), a new species for us. Four are baseline experiments on fruit development and profiling various tissues (see an example) and seven are differential expression studies (see example here).

Heatmap

We have launched a new heatmap style, which is resizeable, zoomable and shows a snapshot of all data. You can explore heatmaps on respiratory gaseous exchange genes.

Patterns

Where available, you can now retrieve genes with similar expression patterns across baseline conditions through gene queries within each baseline experiment. To see an example, take a look at genes with related expression pattern to MT-ATP6.
