ExpressionAtlas: New R package for search and download
Looking for gene-expression data? Our new Expression Atlas R package features in the latest release of Bioconductor, making it simple to search for and download datasets from our baseline and differential expression resources.
You can download each dataset as a pre-packaged R object, containing gene expression data along with sample annotations and protocols describing how the data was generated.
For more information and examples of how to best use the package, have a look at our Bioconductor vignette.
About the Expression Atlas
The Expression Atlas provides information on gene expression patterns under different biological conditions. Gene expression data is re-analysed in-house to detect genes showing interesting baseline and differential expression patterns.
About Bioconductor
Bioconductor is an open source, open development software project to provide tools for the analysis and comprehension of high-throughput genomic data. It is based primarily on the R programming language. The Bioconductor project started in 2001 and is overseen by a core team, based primarily at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and by other members coming from US and international institutions.
