Expression Atlas: now with over 2600 datasets
This release contains our reanalyses of data sets from the BLUEPRINT epigenomes project, baseline data sets from ENCODE on 13 different human tissues, human immunihistochemistry data on normal cell types generated by the Human Protein Atlas and much more.
The 4 April 2016 release of the Expression Atlas offers 2688 datasets! These include:
- 224 RNA-seq and 2 proteomics datasets, of which 60 report baseline gene expression, across a total of 21 different organisms;
- 602 datasets reporting expression in plants;
- 2626 datasets on samples in 7411 differential comparisons across 28 different organisms.
This release contains our reanalyses of datasets from the BLUEPRINT epigenomes project (E-MTAB-3827 and E-MTAB-3819) and baseline datasets from ENCODE that include gene expression from 13 different human tissues.
It also contains the human immunihistochemistry data on 83 different normal cell types from 44 human tissues, generated by the Human Protein Atlas.
All data are mapped to gene annotations from Ensembl 84 / Ensembl Genomes 30.
