European Variation Archive release 3: over 540 million unique variants
The third release of the European Variation Archive (EVA) features over 540 million unique variants and 25 new datasets. The data is enriched with dbSNP links.
The European Variation Archive (EVA) release 3 is now available, with in excess of 540 million unique variants for you to browse, query or download – more than double the number of variants in our previous release! We have added a total of 25 new datasets, released a new version of our VCF file validator, enriched our data with dbSNP links and updated information about our added-value data annotation services.
What’s new
New content in the EVA includes:
- 8 new human datasets including sample level genotypic data from 32 trios with autism
- Variants from 3 new species: rice, blood fluke and rat threadworm
- Both the raw and filtered variant calls from all 500 samples from the SheepGenomesDB project
- Updated clinical variant collection that is in sync with Ensembl 85
We hope you enjoy this new release of the EVA and, as always, welcome your feedback. If you have anything to ask or discuss with us, please contact eva-helpdesk@ebi.ac.uk.
