Ensembl Genomes 29

The latest release of Ensembl Genomes features pairwise alignments for more than 50 plant genomes, including potato, tomato, cacao and grape. New genomes from INSDC have joined our Protist and Fungi services, which now offer more cross-references to the Pathogen-Host Interaction Database (PHI-base). In addition, we've imported 6806 bacterial genomes from the European Nucleotide Archive and protein domain information and now offer protein-domain information from InterProScan (version 5.14-53.0).

Ensembl Genomes now lets you mark a selected region as you browse - a feature available in many of our views. BioMart has been updated for Protists, Metazoa, Fungi and Plants, peptide comparative genomics are updated and new assemblies and annotations are available for existing fungal species.

You can read the full news item on the Ensembl Blog, and see a complete list of changes on the Ensembl Genomes website.
