Ensembl 78 release
Ensembl 78 has been released, offering updated data and many new features.
The new Ensembl release 78 includes:
- Quick preview of results for the first variant in VEP.
- Mouse: updated to GENCODE M4 including manually annotated HAVANA annotation, with new assembly patches (GRCm38.p3).
- Updated pig HAVANA annotation in Vega.
- Updated C. elegans annotation (WS245).
- Transcript Support Levels (TSLs), APPRIS principal isoforms and GENCODE basic annotations are now accessible through Ensembl BioMart.
- RNASeq data can now be displayed as BigWig tracks.
- Interactive species tree.
- APPRIS annotations are now also available for rat ans zebrafish in addition to human and mouse.
