InterPro version 84.0 and InterProScan 5.50-80.0 are now available! InterPro now features hundreds of new methods integrated from partner databases, and InterProScan draws on over 38,000 entries.

InterPro version 84.0

InterPro 84.0 integrates 252 new methods from the Pfam (1), PANTHER (209), CDD (42) databases, and covers 80.3% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2021_01. It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 119 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.

The new release includes an update to UniParc (uniparc_match.tar.gz) matches to InterPro methods. You can find this on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.50-84.0

InterProScan 5.50-84.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 83.0, which contains 38,549 entries. You can find the full release notes here.
