New releases: InterPro 83.0 and InterProScan 5.48-83.0
InterPro version 83.0 and InterProScan 5.48-83.0 are now available! InterPro now features hundreds of new methods integrated from partner databases, and InterProScan draws on over 35,000 entries.
InterPro version 83.0
InterPro 83.0 integrates 462 new methods from the SMART (2), TIGRFAMs (2), Pfam (3), PANTHER (140), HAMAP (19), CDD (286), SFLD (10) databases, and covers 80.3% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2020_06. It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 120 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.
The new release includes an update to UniParc (uniparc_match.tar.gz) matches to InterPro methods. You can find this on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.48-83.0
InterProScan 5.48-83.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 83.0, which contains 38,345 entries and includes updates to HAMAP (2020_05), CDD (3.18). You can find the full release notes here.
