New releases: InterPro 73.0 and InterProScan 5.34 - 73.0

InterPro version 73.0 and InterProScan 5.34- 73.0 are now available! InterPro now features hundreds of new methods integrated from partner databases, and InterProScan draws on over 36,000 entries.

InterPro version 73.0

InterPro 73.0 integrates 1,531 new methods from the CATH-Gene3D (122), CDD (330), PANTHER (1075), Pfam (2), PROSITE profiles (1) and TIGRFAMs (1) databases, and covers 81.2% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2019_02. It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 84 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.

The new release includes an update to UniParc (uniparc_match.tar.gz) matches to InterPro methods. You can find this on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.34 - 73.0

InterProScan 5.34 - 73.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 73.0, which contains 36,702 entries and includes updates to HAMAP (2019_01), PANTHER (14.1), PROSITE patterns (2019_01) and PROSITE profiles (2019_01). You can find the full release notes here.
