New releases: InterPro 71.0 and InterProScan 5.32-71.0

InterPro version 71.0 and InterProScan 5.32-71.0 are now available! InterPro now features hundreds of new methods integrated from partner databases, and InterProScan draws on over 35,000 entries.

InterPro version 71.0

InterPro 71.0 integrates 398 new methods from the CATH-Gene3D (1), CDD (13), PANTHER (369), Pfam (6), ProDom (1) and SFLD (8) databases, and covers 81.0% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2018_10. It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 77 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.

The new release includes an update to UniParc (uniparc_match.tar.gz) matches to InterPro methods. You can find this on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.32-71.0

InterProScan uses data from the newly released InterPro 71.0, which contains 35,353 entries and includes updates to Pfam (32.0) and SFLD post processing. You can find the full release notes here.
