New releases: InterPro database (version 63.0) and InterProScan (5.24-63.0) for functional analysis. InterPro now covers over 80.5% of the UniProt Knowledgebase and predicts GO terms for over 50 million proteins.

InterPro version 63.0

InterPro 63.0 integrates 385 new methods from the CDD (188), Pfam (5), SUPERFAMILY (17), PANTHER (149), CATH-Gene3D (25) and SMART (1) databases.

InterPro now covers 80.5% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2017_05. It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 50 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.

Our new release includes an update to UniParc (uniparc_match.tar.gz) matches to InterPro methods. You can find this on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.24-63.0

InterProScan 5.24-63.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 63.0, which contains 30,218 entries and includes an update to Pfam (v. 31.0) and the PIRSF post-processing algorithm.
