New releases: InterPro 60.0 and InterProScan 5.21-60.0

InterPro welcomes a new member database: MobiDB Lite! InterPro now offers residue annotation and hundreds of new methods, integrated from partner databases. InterProScan draws on 29,700 entries. 

InterPro version 60.0

InterPro 60.0 integrates of 107 new methods from the CDD (101) and PANTHER (6) databases.

InterPro now covers 79.8% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2016_10. It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 42 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.

Our new release includes an update to UniParc (uniparc_match.tar.gz) matches to InterPro methods. You can find this on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.21-60.0

InterProScan 5.21-60.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 60.0, which contains 29,700 entries and includes a new member database MobiDB Lite (v1.0) and residue annotation from SFLD and CDD.
