New releases: InterPro 59.0 and InterProScan 5.20-59.0
InterPro welcomes a new member database: SFLD! This release of InterPro offers hundreds of new methods, integrated from partner databases. InterProScan now draws on over 29,600 entries.
InterPro version 59.0
InterPro 59.0 integrates 780 new methods: 687 from the CDD, 26 from Pfam, 1 from SUPERFAMILY, 46 from PANTHER, 2 from TIGRFAMs, 1 from HAMAP and 17 from SFLD.
InterPro now covers 79.7% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2016_08. It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 40 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.
Our new release includes an update to UniParc (uniparc_match.tar.gz) matches to InterPro methods. You can find this on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.20-59.0
InterProScan 5.20-59.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 59.0, which contains 29,608 entries and includes a new member database SFLD (v. 1) and an update to Pfam (v. 30.0).
