InterPro 55.0 and InterProScan 5.16-55.0 released
InterPro 55.0 integrates hundreds of new methods from the Pfam, SUPERFAMILY, PANTHER, CATH-Gene3D, HAMAP and ProDom databases. InterProScan 5.16-55.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 55.0.

InterPro 55.0 integrates 399 new methods from the Pfam (273), SUPERFAMILY (23), PANTHER (48), CATH-Gene3D (11), HAMAP (43) and ProDom (1) databases.
InterPro now covers 79.7% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2015_12. It also predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 33 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.
The new release includes an update to UniParc matches to InterPro methods (uniparc_match.tar.gz), available on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.16-55.0
InterProScan 5.16-55.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 55.0, which contains 28,678 entries and includes an update to HAMAP (v. 201511.02). You can find the full release notes here.
