New releases: InterPro 54.0 and InterProScan 5.15-54.0

InterPro version 54.0

InterPro 54.0 integrates 2138 new methods from the CATH-Gene3D (2), Pfam (1319), SUPERFAMILY (5), ProDom (7) and PANTHER (805) databases.

InterPro now covers 79.4% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2015_10. It also predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 31 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.

The new release includes an update to UniParc matches to InterPro methods (uniparc_match.tar.gz), available on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro

InterProScan 5.15-54.0

InterProScan 5.15-54.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 54.0, which contains 28,462 entries and includes updates to PANTHER (v. 10.0). You can find the full release notes here.
