We are pleased to announce the release of InterProScan 5.3-46.0. You can find the full release notes here.

InterProScan 5.3-46.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 46.0, which contains 25,586 entries and includes updates to HAMAP (201311.27).

InterPro version 46.0

InterPro 46.0 integrates 323 new methods from the CATH-Gene3D, HAMAP, PANTHER, Pfam and PROSITE profiles databases, and covers 82.0% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2014_01. It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 33 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.

The new release includes updates to UniParc (uniparc_match.tar.gz) and UniMES (unimes_match.tar.gz) matches to InterPro methods. These can be found on our ftp site: ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/interpro
