GWAS Catalog
We are pleased to announce GWAS Catalog software release 2.0.5, with an updated GWAS Diagram, additional ancestry information and a preview of a new genomic annotation download. The GWAS Diagram Browser, released nightly, contains the most up-to-date information available in the GWAS Catalog.
Thanks to input from our users, the GWAS Catalog now offers additional information about ancestry and country of recruitment, available in preview format in the expanded study view. This information is available for studies dating back to 2011. Our Methods page has details about our procedure for curating ancestry information.

We are currently working on improving the genomic annotation of SNPs in the GWAS Catalog. As part of our development and testing, we have made a additional gene mapping information available through our Downloads page. This download includes mapping of all GWAS Catalog SNPs to Ensembl genes, in addition to Entrez genes.
